What is a teaser edit?

The teaser edit is a short, faster paced video edited to be just under 60 seconds. Perfect for sharing on social media or for couples who are so excited about their wedding film that they want to see a preview, the teaser edit is the best with a delivery time of just three days!

What is the Reason For Revelry guarantee?

Our Reason For Revelry guarantee is our commitment to providing our couples with the absolute best experience possible. When you have our photo or video team at your wedding you get the peace of mind knowing that our professional photographer or videographer will always be at your wedding and your edited photos will be delivered within four weeks and your edited 4 minute film delivered in four weeks. If your edited photos or video is even one day late we will refund the entire value of your package.

When is payment due?

While most of our couples use our online payment option to pay a 50% retainer when booking and the remaining balance one month before their wedding date, we’re flexible with our payment options. If you prefer to schedule payments differently we’re happy to discuss options during your consultation.

What do you mean by Full Day Video Coverage

All of our videography services include us being present throughout your wedding day. Since videography involves capturing multiple moments from the entire day and editing them into a single video highlight we work with you to determine what time we need to arrive and what time we will depart from the venue. Best of all if your event starts to get behind schedule you don’t have to worry because we’ll stay on site until we have all the footage we need to deliver a quality video edit.

Can we choose our own music?

YES! We want you to be as involved as you’d like to be. With that being said we usually pick the music for 95% of the weddings we film. We license our music meaning a.) your music won’t be taken down from the internet due to copyright infringement, Facebook and Instagram have become incredibly good at finding copyright issues. b.) You’ll feel good knowing that you’re supporting the best part of the music industry: the artist.

What is an Event Edit?

An Event Edit can be any event which we’ll be capturing and editing from the beginning to the end. This could be your ceremony, first dance, a toast, etc.. Essentially instead of making a creative edit (cut to music and sliced together artistically) we’ll be editing the full length event the way it unfolded live. This means the ceremony edit will last the exact length that the ceremony lasted in real time. Some may call this “traditional videography” which is often what parents and grandparents would like to see.

What is Raw Footage?

Raw Footage is the footage from your wedding day straight from the videographer’s camera. It’s not one continuous video, but rather a collection of many separate clips. Every time the videographer starts and stops recording, a new clip is created. At the end of your wedding day, there will typically be hundreds of clips. When you receive your raw footage you’ll see multiple files within either one or two folders depending on if you have one or two videographers at your wedding, each of these files will be numbered in the order they were created, to watch them you’ll have to click on each one individually.

Raw Footage is completely unedited, there’s no removal of shaky footage, color correction or incorporation of higher quality audio from external sources (such as microphones) the audio in each clip is from the camera’s internal microphone and the quality depends greatly on the distance between the audio source and the camera.

Most Videographers don’t provide couples with the raw footage from their wedding day however, we don’t want to throw away footage of your family which is why the raw footage from your wedding day is included in all of our packages.

How long will I have access to my online edited photo and video collections?

Forever! At Revelry In Reverence we use a triple redundancy process to keep your files safe forever, even if you reach out to us 20 years from now you’ll still have access to everything we captured on your wedding day.
